United coffee house rewind is a blistering blast of extremely prolonged delicious food offerings from various region of India and global front cuisines. It's food and cocktails menu is so vast that one visit not enough to cover all of your favorite dishes. Specially being a bong, I loved how they have offered lots of dishes from west bengal, some authentic bengali food and some bong colonial concoction of continental scenes. Be it North Indian or be it coastal cusines, UCH rewind is just mind blowing! Starting with appetizer, Sole pil pil - sizzling fish finished with garlic, olives, fresh herbs and topped with peri peri seasoning raunak e seekh - skewered mutton kebabs, coated with chopped mixed bell peppers, herbs and onion. Soft and tender chili pork - darjeeling roast chilli pork was another fav dish of mine here. Double cooked mouth melting pork in red chilli, chili bay leaf tadka, charrer shallots. wasabi prawn- horseradish mayo finished crispy wasabi prawns is a must one appetizer here. cafreal chicken tikka - goan spice cafreal masala used for grilled the tikka, coriander flavor is prominent in this mild spicy and smoky tikka. This is another recommended one. Mongolian chicken - chicken morsels tossed in soya sauce, dry chilli, pepper and onion. A spicy asian starters for having with drinks Calcutta fuchka shot - being a foodie from kolkata, you can't miss the crispy suji puffs filled with chili potato mix, tangy jaljeera and saunth concoction

Drinks were fine also. We had, house sangria - red wine and brandy matured with orange and assorted fruits bengal presidency margarita - another tequilla cocktail, orange mixed with gondhoraj lime for some Bengali touch casius petrox - tequilla and gin infused with orange, yuzu, bitters and maldon sea salt loch ness - a strong scotish cocktail, scotch and pernod amalgamated with red vermouth and house bitters. Recommended one. Coming to main courses, burgundy lamb chops - nicely grilled lamb chops served with pepper wine jus, mashed potato and sauteed vegetables malwani jheenga - coastal blast! Konkani prawn curry cooked in coconut milk, kokam and coastal spices. Another must one. From dessert scene, atomic kala jamun - a volcanic eruption of delicious kala jamun topped with scoop of creamy kesar pista ice cream. Its huges and its irresistible. I didn't have so awesome jamun before! malai kulfi popsicle - saffron and pistachio flakes infused with frozen milk served with rose chikki mash. Loved the creamy yummy kulfi! Both of desserts are must to have

UCH will give you a colonial cafe feeling with a posh touch who have visited old coffee houses (eg:- calcutta and delhi's old coffee houses) in their college days.
