Fun filled Mother's Day at Le Creuset

On this year's Mother's day, I was lucky enough to get invited on an interactive cooking demonstration event at Le Creuset, Gurgaon organised by Le Creuset with the help of Eventia and Better homes & Gardens. The main attraction of the event was live cooking demonstration by Mirvaan Vinayak and Sadaf Hussain from Masterchef India season 5.

Inspired by the Le Creuset Colors of Spice global campaign, The chefs curated the recipes such as Kathal Biryani Burrito, Sesame Crusted Salmon with Pea Puree, black Rice and Salsa, Watermelon Scallops with Feta and Pesto and Cardamom infused Giant Cookie with Caramel to celebrate Mother’s Day. These delicious dishes they prepared using the state of the art Le Creuset kitchen in its iconic cookware range.

During the event Chef Mirvaan Vinayak quoted, “Le Creuset is a class apart cookware brand and it is extremely exciting to be associated with this brand. Cooking in Le Creuset is a different experience all together”.

The event became all fun and frolic due to the lovely chemistry between the chefs. The 20-year-old Mirvaan Vinayak was one of the top 4 finalists in Masterchef India Season 5. Being the youngest finalist in the history of Masterchef India, Mirvaan has not only showcased his culinary skills to the top chefs of India but the world. Chef Sadaf Hussain was one of the top ten finalists of Masterchef India Season 5. His passion for cooking drove him to start a pop up café in Delhi in 2015. Sadaf also runs a food website and has gathered million fans post his performance at Masterchef India Season 5. We heard a lot of funny backstage stories of their Masterchef India journey!
